Zirconia Through the Years: Mastering Its Physical and Optical Potential
(Day 1) 21st November 2025 : 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM
Zirconia Doesn’t Fail – Technique Does
Zirconia has evolved significantly over the years, becoming a cornerstone material in modern dentistry thanks to its outstanding physical and optical properties. Its strength, versatility, and ability to mimic natural aesthetics have made it a reliable choice for both restorative and cosmetic applications.
Chipping, fracture, and weak bonding now belong to the past. Modern zirconia offers predictable performance, durability, and aesthetics once thought unattainable.
This lecture will demonstrate how zirconia can be used to its fullest potential, with emphasis on optical behavior, translucency, and surface treatment strategies. Advanced concepts for achieving lifelike results and predictable clinical outcomes will be presented, offering a deeper understanding of how to harness zirconia’s unique properties to create restorations that seamlessly combine functionality and beauty.
