Dr. Nikhil Bahuguna is based in India and earned his BDS degree from Bharti Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital in Pune, Maharashtra (1996–2001), followed by his MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Davangere, Karnataka (2001–2004). He has extensive academic experience, having served from 2005 to 2018 as Professor and Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Kalka Dental College and Hospital, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Dr. Bahuguna is a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education, and a Fellow of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. He is also an accredited member and Board Director of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, where he previously served as President.

He is a Key Opinion Leader for Edelweiss Dentistry (Austria), Dentsply Sirona (Switzerland and Germany), Dentapreg (Czech Republic), and Pulpdent (USA). He is also a certified instructor for Light Speed, Edelweiss, and Maillifer systems.

Internationally, Dr. Bahuguna is an accredited Smylist Dentist and a Master Trainer for the Smylist system based in Budapest, Hungary. He also serves as guest faculty for the Associate Fellowship of the World Clinical Laser Institute (USA) for India.

Dr. Bahuguna is a life member of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, the Society of Oral Laser Applications in India, and the Indian Endodontic Society. He continues to actively contribute to the advancement of aesthetic, adhesive, and laser dentistry through clinical work, education, and international collaboration.
