Dr. Takuya Minamino

Dr. Takuya Minamino 🇯🇵

Dr. Takuya Minamino lives in Osaka, Japan, where he serves as the Director of Nao Dental & Orthodontic Clinic. He earned his DDS degree in 2011 from Osaka University, School of Dentistry, and became a licensed dentist in Japan. In 2016, he completed his postgraduate program in Prosthodontics and received his Ph.D. from the same university under the guidance of Professor Atsushi Mine.

Dr. Minamino has since dedicated himself to the fields of adhesive and esthetic dentistry, both in research and clinical practice. His research, titled “A Novel Method for Evaluating Bonding Ability Using Nondestructive Observation: Visualization of Post-space and Factors Influencing Dentin Bond Strength,” earned him the Research Encouragement Award from the Osaka University Dental Society in 2017. He was also honored with the Poster Dentsply Sirona Award at the 125th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society of Prosthetic Dentistry, and the Presentation Award at the 33rd Annual Congress of the Japanese Adhesive Dentistry Society.

He currently serves as a Clinical Junior Associate Professor in the postgraduate program in Prosthodontics at Osaka University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Minamino is also a Board Certified Doctor of the Japan Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the Japan Society for Adhesive Dentistry. He actively lectures and conducts nationwide courses in adhesive and esthetic dentistry and serves as a clinical consultant for several dental practices.

Dr. Minamino’s specialty areas include esthetic dentistry, adhesive dentistry, and prosthodontics. He has been invited to present his work and lecture on various topics, such as:

Dr. Minamino continues to contribute to academic publications and book chapters and remains committed to advancing minimally invasive and biomimetic approaches in modern dentistry.
